As dark as the picture presented in this documentary, it still doesn't cover the depths of the Pacific Northwest's degradation: Seattle Sonics, Mariners, SeaHawks, University of Washington, WSU... find me a winner in that mix.
As I've always said... to be a fan of Seattle sports is to have one's heart broken every season. True that, Adolph!

My theory is that Washington sports have a success rate directly inverse of Starbucks. Looking at their stock prices lately, I'd say WATCH OUT BCS, NFL, MLB, MLS, SOMEHOW THE NBA, AND LAST YEAR'S SCRABBLE WORLD CHAMPION, BECAUSE THIS YEAR IT'S ALL COMING HOME TO SEATTLE! It's the Ever-GOLD state, bli-otch!
We visited Seattle last week - Fairmont - and saw Lenon's statue, and I've been trying to convince Scott that UW is not a communist university ever since - this didn't help :) Ah well - Go Cougs!
